This series came to be, just the name
suggests, on a wonderful spring day. I have no idea why I was so
much looking forward to the spring, but I felt simply heavenly, so I had
the notion to enjoy every single beam of the sun by indulging my other
passion, which of course is ”Latex, as you must know.
In Germany, to be more exact in Wörlitzer
Park, I went scouting for just the right place, where rhododendron and the
barley were blooming excitedly, and donned my latex dress. The whole
setup made me feel simply marvelous, latex and spring are a combination
without parallel. Perhaps I should allow Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, with a
little help provided by Edgar Alfred Bowring, to express my feelings more
accurate with one of my favorite citations from ”Faust, the
”Easter Walk passage:
”From lowly houses' mustiness, / From
handicraft's and factory's prison, / From the roof and gables that oppress,
/ From the bystreets' crushing narrowness, / From the churches' venerable
night,
They are all brought out into light. / See,
only see, how quickly the masses / Scatter through gardens and fields
remote; / How down and across the river passes / So many a merry
pleasure-boat.
And over-laden, almost sinking,
The last full wherry moves away.
From yonder hill's far pathways
blinking,
Flash to us colours of garments gay.
Therefore, enjoyeth all ye lowly folks this
series with the shiny, beaming latex dress, your lady of honour is
getting her spring out, for all of you to shine.
